Student organizers of Fill The Dome are proud to announce their results from this year’s food drive.

Fill The Dome 2011 has successfully raised 160,021 lbs, or 80 tons of food, and approximately $80,000 to go towards local hunger relief. This equals 443,093 meals, which, while under the goal, does stress how many people are impacted by the project.

Organizers would like to thank Premiere Sponsors Hornbacher’s and Gate City Bank. Other sponsors include the Kilbourne Group, Sanford Health, Laney’s, Mac’s, Swanson Health Products, Hotel Donaldson, The FARGODOME, United Way, Dakota Medical Foundation/Impact Foundation, and radio sponsors 107.9 The FOX, Q98, FM 105.1, and Froggy 99.9.

Most importantly, the students would like to thank everyone in the community for their support and donations; without them Fill The Dome wouldn’t be possible.
